Application and Function

Schlüter®-KERDI-DRAIN-SP is a stainless steel spout for draining balconies and terraces that are enclosed by a parapet wall.

A Schlüter®-KERDI collar is attached to the large adhesive flange as a waterproofing connection. This allows for a simple and safe connection to waterproofing assemblies.

If a continuous parapet prevents water from draining over the edge, two independently functioning drainage systems must be installed in accordance with DIN EN 12056; e.g. a floor drain and a spout, or two spouts. As specified in the standards, the second spout serves as additional drainage to minimise flooding.
