Genesis Heavy Duty Black Channel Stair Nosing Aluminator AHD Series (Select Options)

The Aluminator range of Genesis Heavy Duty Aluminium Nosings, similar in profile type to the NHD series, offers an easy, energy efficient solution to illuminate step edges, assisting safe evacuation from premises during emergencies or power failure. It is designed to be used in most commercial and industrial applications. The profile is available in a range of colour designs with DDA and building regulations accounted for. Most colours available in lengths of: 1Mtr, 2.46Mtrs, 2.77Mtrs and 3.22Mtrs The system requires no electrical connection, is simple to install and requires no special maintenance other than that of a standard stair nosing. Only normal illumination, daylight, fluorescent or standard tungsten filaments are required to activate it's performance. Slip Resistance to BS7976-2:2002. External grade Tredsafe® Insert. Tredsafe insert is manufactured from a special blend of P.V.C., silica quartz and polymeric plasticiser giving an homogeneous hard wearing anti-slip flooring for wet and dry conditions. The three dimensional pyramid pattern which provides excellent slip resistance in both wet and dry conditions. External Grade Tredsafe® Insert: The Tredsafe insert is manufactured from a special blend of P.V.C., silica quartz and polymeric plasticiser giving an homogeneous hard wearing anti-slip flooring for wet and dry conditions. The three dimensional pyramid pattern provides excellent slip resistance in both wet and dry conditions and meets DIN51130:2010 specification at 24.7° - Category R11. Pendulaum Test BS7976-2:2002 (Average value) Dry:57 Wet:47 Anodised Profile Version: This profile is also available as an anodised version in the colour selection box. Please select this option as "Anodised(Colour)-(Colour)". The second colour refers to the colour and style of the insert. ie. An anodised Bright Brass trim with a Standard Yellow insert will be listed as "Anodised 86 Brass 47 Yellow". Tredsafe versions, if available, will be listed as such. LRV's Clarification: Reflectance is the propotion of light that a surface reflects, compared to the amount or volume of light that fall on said surface. The LRV is a value given to a surface to identify the amount of light reflected.The texture of a surface can provide a differant LRV even if the RAL colour is the same. RAL Colours: RAL is an European color matching system which defines colors for paint, coatings and plastics. Please note that RAL colours should be used as a guide only and cannot always provide an exact match due to variations in the manufacturing process. This is standard throughout the industry.
