Kelmore Ultra Rapid Repair Mortar 15kg

Kelmore's Repair Mortar is a moisture tolerant, ultra-rapid setting cementitious mortar suitable for interior and exterior use.
Designed for horizontal and vertical applications, it can be applied in thicknesses ranging from 2mm to 50mm without slumping.
Its versatility makes it ideal for repairing, filling, and patching substrates, as well as forming ramps, falls, and coves
Thanks to its moisture tolerance, it is also suitable for use below damp proof membranes.
Its ultra-rapid setting properties allows for tiling with porcelain, ceramic, and natural stone tiles after 60 minutes, with resilient floor coverings able to be installed after just 90 minutes.
Mixing:
A 15kg bag of Kelmore Repair Mortar should be mixed with approximately 2.85 litres of clean, cold water. For smaller batches, use a powder-to-water ratio of 3½ : 1 by volume. Add the water to a clean bucket, then gradually stir in the powder. Mix thoroughly until the consistency is smooth and slump-free.
Application:
Using a steel trowel, apply the mixed mortar with sufficient pressure to ensure it keys into the background.
The mortar can be left proud and trimmed when sufficiently firm, which, at 20ºC, will take approximately 15 to 20 minutes. Once firm, the mortar can be finished with a wet trowel to further smooth and enhance the surface
