Schlüter®-DITRA-HEAT-E-DUO-S
A polypropylene membrane with a cut-back stud structure and a special 2 mm anchoring fleece laminated on the underside
Reduces impact sound by 13db and produces a faster heat-up response.
The substrate for the installation must be level and load bearing
Schlüter DITRA-HEAT is installed in thin-bed tile adhesive suitable for the substrate with a 6mm notched trowel.
The insulated anchoring fleece on the underside is fully embedded into the adhesive.
Floor areas the heating cables can be installed immediately with a spacing of 9cm (every third stud ≙ 136W m²)
Wall areas the heating cables can be installed once the adhesive is set with a spacing of 6cm (every second stud ≙ 200W m²)
The tile or stone covering is installed directly over Ditra Heat with a suitable cement based adhesive
